Island Steel UK Ltd operates from its purpose built site on Alexandra Docks in Newport, South Wales. The
site is situated less than two miles from the centre of Newport and is easily reached from the M4. The
company has access to its own dockside wharf and is situated adjacent to a docks service railway line
which connects in turn to the national railway network.

The site was purchased in 1998 and cleared to a brown field base in preparation for the erection of office and
production facilities
The initial development was added to during 2006 and 2007 to
fully utilise the 5.2 acre site. This has increased the original
factory floor space of 42000 square feet to 80000 square
feet with the opportunity to increase capacity again by a
further 30000 square feet.

In addition to the expansion of the South Wales production
facility, satellite offices are fully operational in both the West
Midlands and in Dublin in the Replublic of Ireland.
